The Parking and Sustainable Transportation division organizes various events throughout the year in order to promote our sustainable transportation initiatives.

Car Free Day -

Car Free Day Car Free Day is an international event celebrated every year on September 22nd to raise awareness about the negative impacts of our dependency on cars.  We organize events around this day of education with a focus on the environment.

Bike to Work Day - During Environment Week

cyclist Join uOttawa for Bike to Work Day and discover the benefits of cycling to work.  Bike to work day will be held June 2nd 2010.

Information Kiosks

Information kiosk

We sometimes organize information tables in order to inform the University community to promote sustainable transportation.

  • Next kiosk will be held January 21st, 2009 (UCU) and January 24th, 2009 (SITE) during green week.
