Since 1848, the University of Ottawa has been Canada's university: a reflection, an observatory and a catalyst of the Canadian experience in all its complexity and diversity. Located in the heart of the nation's capital, it has grown into one of the country's leading research institutions--a 40,000-strong community of students, professors, researchers and administrative staff who live, work and study in a vibrantly bilingual and cosmopolitan setting.
As a University protection officer, you also contribute to and benefit from this stimulating environment. You are a front-line representative of Protection Services and, by default, of the University as a whole. You often become the face of the institution, making the campus not only secure, but also warm and welcoming. The challenges are many—and always fascinating. We need individuals whose special skills and aptitudes can help drive our service's mission and vision and, in the process, that of the University.

Note also that job offers are conditional upon your passing an interview, a psychological assessment, a medical exam and a security background check.
