Volunteering for Community Protection: A safe bet—and maybe a scholarship, too
Looking for a stimulating between-class experience alongside your peers? Try volunteering with the Community Protection Office, an auxiliary branch of Protection Services.
We're constantly on the look-out for energetic volunteers eager to help the surrounding community. As a member of our team, you play a direct role in keeping the campus safe, for instance by conducting preventive patrols and organizing campaigns designed to raise awareness about safety and crime prevention.
To top things off, your involvement not only gives you access to free first-aid training and to a host of entertaining social events, but could also land you a scholarship.
Join Community Protection and discover how teamwork and productive fun go hand in hand. For details, call us at 613-562-5800, extension 4636, or drop by our headquarters in room 02A of the University Centre.
